Those of you who have fewer than 20 employees and would like to create and print weekly shift schedules may be interested in the free Weekly Employee Shift Schedule Template by Business Management Systems. Using this Excel template, you can create and print a weekly work schedule for up to 20 employees and 9 shifts. Its three-tab system lets you configure the worksheets to match your operations. Use the Employees tab to enter employee names and labor rates. Shifts and shift durations are defined in the Shifts tab. The Schedule tab is used to assign a shift to an employee.  Once shift assignments are made, work hours and labor costs are automatically computed based on shift assignment durations and labor rates.
